The Grand Prix was first held by the late Sir Sultan Ismail, son of the late Sultan Sir Ibrahim in 1940, who was then still called the Tunku Mahkota of Johor.The race is to raise funds for the war. 4 races released in the event that lasted for 2 days. Straight along Jalan Ayer Molek also allows each rider to make the acceleration up to the line start / finish in front of the Johor Bahru Post Office. The ticket price is fixed at 5 Straits Dollars and the ticket can be purchased in Singapore and Johor Bahru.
